Export to Excel and Color Code
If you export to excel on this report you will find that color coding does not come out in the export and it will also not print color coded. There is an excel template provided at the bottom of this article that you may use to color code the report in Excel, below are step-by-step instructions:
Click the Excel icon under Export
A “Save As” box will pop up. Choose a location and name for the report(and remember it). Make sure it saves as a file type “Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Values File” (CSV).
Open the Project 10 Template (attached at the bottom of this page). Also, open the file you exported from Focus in the location where the report was saved. You should have both the template and the exported file open.
On the template, select the second row in the by clicking on the number 2 line on the left so it selects the entire row. Then go to the menu ribbon at the top and click on the paintbrush icon for the format painter.
Next, go open the file you exported from Focus, click on the triangle in the top left corner of the spreadsheet to paint the format from the template onto your spreadsheet
Go up to the menu ribbon again and click Format > AutoFit Column Width.
Go to File and click Save As, change the file type from CSV to XLSX
