Overview
A transcript is a report containing the student's permanent academic record. Included in a student's transcript are courses that attempt/earn credit, test history, certification information as well as GPA data.
Generating Transcripts from Transcripts Screen
To generate a transcript in Focus, navigate to Grades > Transcripts.
Use the Student Search box to search for the student whose transcript you would like to run.
The transcripts options displayed on this screen will vary depending on your profile permissions.
Selecting Only Secondary Courses will pull course history records marked 9th grade and above.
You also have the option to Abbreviate Column Names. When this option is selected, additional
abbreviation options will display. Select whether or not to Abbreviate Marking Periods, Abbreviate Other
Columns, or to Show Abbreviation Legend.
The letterhead template should default based on what your district has created. We do not recommend changing this selection.
Click Continue.

Focus will display a list of students that meet your search criteria.
Use the checkbox(s) to the left to select the student(s) whose transcript you would like to generate.
As students are selected, the number of selections made will display next to the number of students pulled originally. To select all the students in the list, check the box in the header row.

Once you are done selecting students click Generate Transcripts.
Your page will update and display a transcript for each student you have selected.
Here you can save or print the transcript(s).
Note: The grade level on the transcript will be determined by the school you have selected in the top and match the last primary enrollment from that school.
From this screen, you have several options including, Rotate clockwise (circular arrow), Download as a
PDF (down arrow), Print (printer icon), Fit to page (small inner arrows), Zoom in (plus sign), and Zoom out
(minus sign). When finished, click Return to Focus to return to the Report Cards screen.
